The funny thing is that the list would be completely different if I had written it today.

Not ask anxious or stressed out as I normally would be with this market, probably because I have done it before and I am quite relaxed about it. So what have I got that is new? I have some cute little fathers day wallet/coin purse things such as these!  Alternative inspired hair ties, some cute lunch bags. Some handbags (if I get them finished), cute little covered button cufflinks and much more.

There is this gorgeous little makers market in Thornbury on tomorrow. I have a stall there and I am selling bits and pieces.  There is also coffee, cake, plants, and lots of gorgeous stuff from a whole lot of crafty ladies.

99 Leinster Grove, Thornbury
10am-3pm
Saturday 5th September

The poster for the market is on my blog
. Come along and say "hi" to us all, all the items being sold are handmade in Melbourne.

Not sure what time last night I was woken with "Mammy Mammy Mammy" and a screaming Tori.

Went into her room, tried to re-settle her to no avail. Nothing would work and she wouldn't go back into her Cot.
So I ended up on the floor with her with pillows and blankets with me hugging her to sleep. When Andreas came through to get us at 6.30, she was in a really DEEP sleep, so deep that we could pack her into the car and off to the grandparents without waking up.

So I am buggered today, really buggered.

Come and heckle me at the Thornbury Community handmade Market.

I'll have my usual things there plus some nice new bags that I have been working in!

COME AND SAY HI!!!

2 May 10-3pm 99 Leinster Grove Thornbury.

The market will celebrate all things craft, local and community.
The market will showcase a great range of crafts, perfect gifts for Mothers Day on May 9.

In amongst the sewing, cutting and constructing that went on in the workroom last night, I also did a bit of book covering ... if I can get a hold of a few more books before the weekend I might whip some other applique designs up on the machine ... another enjoyable crafty project. I have 6 bags in bits waiting on being sewn up. I try to not sew after a certain time at nights, as I always just end-up unpicking the following day. So if I am not tired (which seems to be the case a the moment), I will do cutting and pinning and not machine sewing (except if it is for a book!).

Tori is all hot and feverish this morning, hasn't really wanted breakfast and we have to go in 1/2 an hour to Mum's. I am teaching Y12 today, so a day off is not an option. Tomorrow however, is a different story! Friday I *have* to be at school as I am doing a presentation to Year 7's on the impact of ipods on their hearing.

For all those small business people on the friends list, twitter seem to be working a treat in getting interested people onto the web site and then into the shop. They also seem to be sticking around longer, not sure if I am just writing more interesting things ...

Here are some other KKBB links via twitter ...

I am not posting every single link on my KKBB, rather I am using my twitter account to post links to web pages that I wouldn't do a blog post for. Contemplating doing the direct twitter feed, but I would much prefer the context of links and comments in this forum.
*sigh* need to get up of the couch now, make Tori her second breakfast (we did toast as the first) and get moving to get to work. I have the drive out to Mum's in Dandenong and then back into St. Kilda. So long as I leave by 9ish (after the schol rush, before the morning tea rush), I will be there on time. Need to remember to cut some more music to listen to this morning, Andreas CD's are doing my head in.

Have a great day everyone!

I love the concept of product development via Twitter. I posted a link to this KK Business Blog post this weekend on the Rainbow Packs that I am making for my Year 7 class, which will then be filled and passed onto a school and I got back a whole lot of Direct Message Twits with the vote!

So I will ask LJ land, for those of you who don't  twit or face.

Take a look at the bags, tell me which one you like the best and why. Also, what would yu pay for a bag like this? An adult version ... with zips, clips pockets and adjustable straps...

.. does whatever a spider bag does.
The link in the last post was wrong :(

Kokka Spider Bag

Some yummy things for you to look at in my online shop ...

Skull Love Tote Bag: A tote bag with magnetic closure with a patchwork panel with skulls and cross bones in it.
Spider Market Bag: A "one-of-a-kind" Market Handbag with a panel of Japanese Medium Weight Linen which has a spider design on it.
Flannel Skull Wrap: This cosy wrap is ideal for the cold nights coming up.
Plenty of coin purses, pouches and pencil cases.

Konstant Kaos will be having a market stall at the Made n Thornbury market on 2nd May at Thornbury Women's 10-3pm 99 Leinster Grove Thornbury. I will have more bags there and gifts for "mothers". Come and heckle me!

Uploaded my Gocco creations to etsy and also some cute kitten coin purses   *meow*

My brother has left the country! Yeah!

Unlike last time there is a barely a sniff of him being here. Over the last few months he has downscaled and re-distributed his stuff and he bascially worked it down to 40 kilo's of luggage. If I didn't know better, I would think that he was going for good. He was in good spirits last night, but unfortunately my whole head was aching so I wasn't up for much conversation yesterday.

Andreas is doing the "run" to his parents this morning with Tori. She is off for a swimming lesson again with Oma in Bentleigh with another German grandmother and grand daughter.

I, unfortunately, have parent teacher night tonight, not looking forward to that. But I will stick around school, get my correction and prep work done and have a cushy rest of the week (perhaps).

As soon as I can find my memory card reader, I will post pictures of the new stuff I made for Worn Wild.
